There are a lot of green smoothie recipes out there. What makes this one great is that it is so delicious and there is so little prep. Most of the "green" in this Healthy Greens Breakfast Smoothie recipe comes from the V8 Healthy Greens. Frozen pineapple adds sweetness and avocado makes it creamy. We love the addition of freshly grated ginger- it adds a bit of warm spice that really makes it different (and we think better!) than your average green smoothie recipe. Step 1
Add the V8, pineapple, avocado, chia seeds, lemon zest, lemon juice and ginger to a blender. Cover and blend until smooth.
Step 2
Divide the smoothie between 2 glasses and serve immediately.
