Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 13 ounces to 14 ounces smoked turkey kielbasa, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, cut in half and sliced (about 1 cup)
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into thin strips (about 1 cup)
  • 8 ounces uncooked farfalle (bow tie) pasta (about 3 cups)
  • 1 jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Cheesy Bacon Sauce or Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 green onion (scallion), sliced (about 1/4 cup)

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.  Add the kielbasa, onion and pepper and cook for 3 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  • Step 2

    Stir in the uncooked pasta, the sauce and water and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the pasta is done, stirring occasionally.  Sprinkle with the green onion before serving.
