Farfalle pasta, chicken sausage, onion and tomato are tossed in a creamy basil pesto Alfredo sauce. The result is a fabulous dish that’s guaranteed to be a real crowd-pleaser!
Step 1
Cook and drain the farfalle according to the package directions. While the farfalle is cooking, heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook for 12 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
Step 2
Remove the sausage from the skillet. Add the onion and tomato to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Cut the sausage into 1/2-inch slices and return to the skillet. Stir in the Alfredo and pesto sauces. Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Place the cooked farfalle into a large bowl. Add the sausage mixture and toss to coat. Season to taste. Sprinkle with the basil before serving.
