Turkey Fajitas

Here's a deliciously different recipe for leftover turkey...just give it a kick with picante sauce, peppers and onions, all wrapped up in a flour tortilla.  What a tasty idea!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 small green bell pepper or red bell peppers, cut into 2-inch-long strips (about 2 cups)
  • 2 medium onion, sliced (about 2 cups)
  • 3 cups cooked turkey or chicken strips
  • 1 can (13.8 ounces) Campbell’s® Turkey Gravy or Campbell’s® Chicken Gravy
  • 1 cup Pace® Picante Sauce
  • 12 flour tortilla (6-inch), warmed

    • Easy Substitution: You can also use cooked steak strips and substitute beef gravy for the turkey gravy.
  • Step 1

    Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add the peppers and onions and cook until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally. 

  • Step 2

    Stir in the turkey, gravy and picante sauce.  Reduce the heat to low. Cook until the mixture is hot. Season to taste.

  • Step 3

    Spoon about 1/3 cup turkey mixture down the center of each tortilla. Fold the tortillas around the filling.
