You will not believe how amazing these Spicy Enchilada Hot Honey Wings taste- and you only need only 4 ingredients! It's all in the sauce- the enchilada sauce. Air-fry your wings until crispy and done. Then, heat the enchilada sauce with hot honey (or regular, if you have that on hand) and some butter to mellow out the spice. Add the wings and toss to coat. That's it. Spicy Enchilada Hot Honey Wings are a fan favorite, but the sauce mixture is really great on almost anything. Try tossing it with cooked chicken nuggets or strips or use as a finishing sauce for grilled chicken or pork!
Step 1
Heat the air-fryer to 375°F. Spray the air fryer basket liberally with cooking spray. Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Arrange the wings in the basket.
Step 2
Air fry for 25 minutes or until the wings are crisp and done, shaking the basket twice during cooking to turn the wings.
Step 3
While the wings are cooking, heat the sauce, butter and honey in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes or until the butter is melted.
Step 4
Transfer the cooked wings (use tongs) from the air fryer to the sauce and toss to coat. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping, if desired.
