Hot Honey Chicken Wings.  Need we say more?  They're sweet and spicy from the hot honey and picante and just a bit salty from the soy sauce.  It could not be easier to make these wings, since you cook them until they're perfectly crispy in the air-fryer, then just toss with the sauce (made from those sweet, spicy, salty pantry-staple ingredients).  You can serve them as is, or sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onion so they look as good as they taste.  Perfect for game day, or anytime you want something fun and delicious, Hot Honey Chicken Wings are always a hit!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce
  • 1/2 cup spicy (hot) honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1

Heat the air-fryer to 400°F. Spray the air fryer basket liberally with cooking spray.

  • Step 2

Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Arrange the wings in the air fryer basket.  Air fry for 25 minutes or until the wings are crisp and done, shaking the basket twice during cooking to turn the wings.

  • Step 3

While the wings are cooking, heat the picante sauce, hot honey and soy sauce in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes or until hot.  Transfer the cooked wings (use tongs) from the air fryer to the sauce and toss to coat.

  • Step 4

Remove the wings to a serving dish.  Sprinkle the wings with the sesame seeds and green onions, if desired.  Serve with the remaining sauce for dipping.
