This mash-up of two all time favorites, tacos and nachos, is perfect for parties, snacking or even a fun family dinner. Our salsa is the secret to perfectly seasoned beef. Top off with cheese and your favorite toppings. It gets even better because this soon-to-be family favorite is ready to eat in only 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 jar (24 ounces) Pace® Chunky Salsa or Medium Picante Sauce
- 1 package (9 to 12 ounces) tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese or Mexican cheese blend (about 8 ounces)

Step 1
Heat the oven to 350°F.

Step 2
Cook the beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the cumin and chili powder and cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in 1 3/4 cups salsa and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Arrange the tortilla chips on a rimmed baking sheet (For easy cleanup, line the baking sheet with foil first). Top with the beef mixture. Sprinkle with the cheese.

Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve with the remaining salsa.
