Making taquitos at home is surprisingly easy with this Creamy Verde Chicken Taquitos recipe. Just stir the filling ingredients together: shredded cooked chicken, Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, Pace® Cilantro Jalapeño Lime Sauce and chopped cilantro or green onion—all the flavor and heat are balanced by the creamy cheeses. Spray tortillas with cooking spray, roll tightly around the filling and air-fry (or bake) until golden-brown and crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside. Serve with more Cilantro Jalapeño Lime sauce for dipping and you've got an easy snack or fun dinner in about 25 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Pace® Signature Sauces Cilantro Jalapeño Lime Sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro or green onions
- 12 flour tortilla (6-inch) or corn tortillas (for corn tortillas, warm before using)
Instructions

Step 1
Heat the air fryer to 370°F. Stir the chicken, Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, sauce and cilantro in a bowl. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

Divide the chicken mixture among the tortillas. Roll the tortillas up tightly around the filling. Place seam-side down into the air fryer basket.

Air fry for 6 minutes. Turn the taquitos over and spray with cooking spray. Air fry for another 3 minutes or until crisp. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with additional sauce for dipping or drizzle over the top, if desired.
